My responsibilities were as an accountant at Sapphire Textile Mills Limited in Sheikhupura included bookkeeping, payroll, Reconciling documents on daily/monthly basis, and monthly stocktaking. Financial services in the accounts department were what we did. Pre/Post Costing against contracts on Oracle application.
Maintain records associated with each contract, paid employees and labor at the end of month, Daily/monthly basis documents with different departments against contract, conducted departmental stock takes on June 1st. Pre/Post Costing against contracts on Oracle application for contract cost.
I learned a lot of things, particularly the fundamentals of accounting, such as how we keep records and then reconcile them with the bank at the end of the month.

Dean's Award achieved on highest(GPA) of 3.93/4.00. Presented a research entitled "Time-Frequency Volatility Spillover between Conventional and Islamic Stock Market: Evidence from Developed, Emerging and Frontier Market". Published article in an HEC-approved journal "Journal of Finance and Accounting Research (JFAR)"

I studied MS in finance, but I didn't participate in any clubs or societies at UMT.
