Describe the work that you do in your role

Lead Data & RF Optimisation Engineer with 15+ years of broad-based experience within the ICT Industry. Have seasoned technical and functional skills working on different projects by building data-intensive applications involving Network Insights, Data Analytics, Reporting and Automation. I am proficient in Predictive Modelling, Data Processing & Data Mining Algorithms, as well as scripting languages, including Python & SQL. Capable of creating, developing, testing and deploying highly adaptive diverse services to translate business and functional qualifications into substantial deliverables. The key to my success lies in managing stakeholders, embracing teamwork (both as a member and a leader), using Agile methodologies to deliver technical and business solutions within scope, time and budget.

• Monitoring daily Network/BSC/Cell/Carrier statistics for assigned cluster to ensure QoS & GoS.
• Identifying worst cells and investigating them by taking appropriate actions to rectify the problem in order to maintain all the main KPI’s within the defined targets.
• Conducting frequent drive tests (frequency scans, idle & dedicated modes) based on necessary coverage & quality issues using TEMS Investigation 7.1.
• Analysing the drive test log files for call connectivity/dropped calls in addition to major quality & coverage problems and giving appropriate recommendations for the problems encountered.
• Zone and traffic balancing between PGSM and DCS layer, over-utilized and under-utilized cells, optimizing power control and handover detection algorithms.

Describe your success in your professional life and achievements

In my professional life, I have achieved success by contributing positively to the working of my organization. One of my notable achievements was helping the organization automate daily tasks to optimize operational expenditure (OpEx) costs.

By identifying repetitive and time-consuming tasks, I introduced automation solutions that streamlined processes and reduced manual efforts. This resulted in increased productivity and efficiency within the organization.

Through automation, we were able to minimize human error and improve the accuracy of tasks. This positively impacted various departments, such as finance, operations, and customer service, by enabling them to focus on more strategic and value-added activities.

Additionally, the automation initiatives I implemented led to significant cost savings for the organization. By eliminating manual tasks and optimizing workflows, we reduced resource requirements and enhanced operational effectiveness.

Overall, my contributions in automating daily tasks and optimizing OpEx costs played a key role in improving productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness within the organization.

• Work with the Advancement Office to mobilize alumni to support the University through the
contribution of time, advice, services and/or donations
• Assist in the collection of data for the alumni database
• As a member of the Alumni Executive Committee, participate in regular meetings
• Submit activity report to the Alumni Executive Committee on a yearly basis

What do you remember about your time in ILM / IMT /UMT?

One of my most cherished memories from my university days is playing cricket with my friends on the university grounds.
