Describe your success in your professional life and achievements

From a young age I have been genuinely fascinated by the intriguing world of Science. This passion has fueled my passion for health sciences.I was aware that health sciences require a great commitment on an educational, physical and
emotional level and was prepared to make that commitment.
When I secured admission in Doctor of Nutritional Sciences, this was quite a new field to start with our pioneer batch. To make space in a vast hopscotch of related fields introduced I determined to make a platform designed to specifically cater to spread awareness of Nutrition and Diet in the lives of people and how it can be made to prevent masses from getting oh-so-common diseases like obesity afflicting millions now.
The idea was readily translated into reality and a council named Pakistani Doctors of Nutrition and Dietetic council(PDNDC) brought into practice addressing the professional needs for the emerging nutritionists and dietitians. Having worked as one of the main pillars of PDNDC, I was able to introduce another society called UMT Nutriento Club (UNC) at the university level to further consolidate our viewpoint. During this oh-not-so-easy journey of establishing this platform I inculcated one more startling quality of leadership in my personality that I'm grateful for till date.
All of this subconsciously and consciously evolved me into the unique one. These platforms not only celebrated the vibrant presence of this nascent field but also provided students with ample opportunities to hone their clinical skills in the practical clinical and industrial arena.
From unifying students and teachers at one point to taking the higher authorities along, each step demanded sheer hard work and a team work was ensured that manifested excellence in all aspects. After learning the fundamentals of how to lead, I utilized these qualities to put forth our demands
and get them acknowledged and recognized. I went above and beyond until I was heard and responded. This didn't happen in a matter of hours but a dauntless and untiring effort that continued
for months resulted in bringing this into existence. So the blind alley of this newly introduced discipline finally enlightened and brought hope to hundreds. Because of all these efforts I have
been nominated for Gold medal for my services during under graduation.
I also had the privilege to work with towering institutes like Pakistan Food Authority which then appointed me as a student representative of PFA in UMT. This whole lot of experience was also so full of knowledge and enabled me to further sharpen all my traits to another next level.
I was also honored to work with another prestigious and mega platform of our university called JINNAH FORUM. Under its surveillance I organized events in the capacity of Head of Event
where our chief guests were world renowned personalities i.e., Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan (Pak Nuclear Scientist), Yousuf RazaGilani (Ex Pak Prime Minister), Shafqat Mahmood (Education
Minister) and Khurshid Mahmood Qasuri (Ex Foreign Minister) to name a few. This further enhanced my organizing abilities and revealed a more confident version of myself. Being brought
up within a multicultural society and visiting different areas in country have helped develop my knowledge of different cultures and traditions.
Currently I am working in NUR International University as a teaching assistant and NUR Wellness HUB Coordinator. I want to analyze the field of nutrition and dietetics thru the lens of a teacher as well. It will definitely enhance my
stance on what could be done further to flourish this relatively emerging field. I’m also working as an operational manager in non-government organization, School of nutrition. This experience
will sharpen my skills of how to operate and manage such organizations.
Through work experience at a hospital I have been able to gain vital experience and a valuable insight into medical nutrition therapy and the complex, challenging and intricate nature of the work involved.
