Master group of industries is a well-diversified group of companies engaged in manufacturing of mattresses, automobiles, chemicals, and energy. The group is continuously looking to expand it businesses especially the energy division to help bridge the demand and supply gap in our country by focusing on alternative and other cheaper sources of energy.
Describe the work that you do in your role
Research, analysis, and business valuations are the core of my role. To keep actively look after the public equities to enhance portfolio performance besides private equity related transaction to generate Business Synergies which have gained a strategic importance in modern business world.
Capital and primary market transaction assessment is another vital role which have assigned to me.

A professional with more than 6 years of highly diversified experience backed by sound knowledge base having experience ranging from accounting and financial reporting, financial modeling, project finance, corporate finance, equities, investment portfolio performance appraisal, financial due diligence, & credit analysis.
Diligently conducts due diligence & formulates financial models for acquisition of target firms.
Honored to have a lead role in formulation of financial model in an IPO transaction & pivotal role in overall closure of transaction.
With a futuristic approach successfully built optimized forecasting models for key financial models inputs.
Worked on building flexible scenario based budgeting models of over 1000 million along with the stress testing.
Amicably provided insights on investment decisions for the new products, improving operating and cash conversion cycle, optimization of working capital, and enterprise resource planning programs.
At different levels participated in both strategy formulation and execution and demonstrated highest level of leadership traits. During my so far journey i have gained a decent command over financial modeling, corporate finance, project finance, equities, business valuations, financial reporting & analysis (IFRS & U.S GAAP), fixed income, quantitative methods, portfolio management, & ethical standards for investment professionals in the global and local economic perspective.
Describe your success in your professional life and achievements
Educational achievement encompasses scoring a merit scholarship at UMT, deans merit award, and completion of CIA exams in the first attempt. Currently, awaiting for CFA charter and the same shall be conferred to me upon completion of application filed in the due course.
As far as professional achievements are concerned i have helped devising my company the internal controls related to payroll function, implementation of ERP across the company, and performed critical role in many private equity and corporate finance transactions.
Write your activities and achievement if you were member of any club or society in UMT?
Currently, not a member of any society of the University but for sure will help connecting the alumni with University and industry professionals to the University.
What do you remember about your time in ILM / IMT /UMT?
Scoring a merit scholarship while getting admission otherwise it would not have been possible for me to continue my studies given the financial constraints i was facing at that time.
