Describe the work that you do in your role
Information Security Management Lead for Nestlé Pakistan:
• Manage & operate Information Security Management System through RSA Archer Tool.
• Perform Risk Assessment based on Risk Management Methodology.
• Integrate ISMS control procedures with global Cyber Risk Framework and ISO:IEC 27001 Annex A controls.
• Lead & coach risk and control owners regularly for Independent Review and Surveillance Audit.
• Risk Management.
Business Application:
• Ensure business applications running smoothly and all issues are resolved on-time, and within company expectations for quality and functionality.
• Ensure Compliance in operations. Coordinate audit activities in business application area.
• Maintain and communicate project status to all stakeholders in reports and status meetings.
• Working with end-users to formulate and document business requirements.
• Ensure that the application-system component of the Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan is established and is workable.

5+ years of experience, managing most aspects of IT function including Application Analysis, Business Continuity Management, Support, ISMS, Application Portfolio Management, and Project Management.
I’m known for being a detail-oriented, well-organized team player, who never miss the deadlines. A good communicator and a one who can juggle multiple tasks at once. I really enjoy the work that I do, and that's what keeps me happy.

To me, success is meeting the needs of the company. I felt the most successful when I am able to help a business team find the perfect solution to their problem. My supervisors regularly praised my ability to clearly communicate and empathize with both my team members and my business group.

What do you remember about your time in ILM / IMT /UMT?
UMT days were amazing and I had a lot of fun. I guess the answer to the question is just that UMT gave me a lot of memories, fun, knowledge, experience and made me a person I never thought of becoming.
UMT built me so strong mentally as well as physically. I guess this is why I remember my UMT days. Many people have different memories may be good or may be bad, mine were crazy but they were the best memories I could ever have.
