• Key member of team to gain ISO (9001, 14001) & HACCP certification. Audited existing process, identified gaps and designed new corrective procedures. Wrote Standard Operating Procedures, trained team and achieved certification.
• Implemented CLIT (Cleaning, Lubrication, Inspection and Tightening) to reduce machines failure rate by using effective communication SMS tool and also improved visual controls.
• Facilitated numerous Root Cause Failure Analysis (why why analysis) Investigation in regard to Productivity, Safety and Equipment failure by using different TPM tools n steps.
• An active team member of many teams like 5s, JH (Jishu Hozen) step 1,2,3 & 4, Kobasto Kiazen, Education & training pillar, SOP, Job Risk assessment, internal audits & Innovation for developing new products
• Established routines/systems under TPM umbrella that expedited responses to the production team. Like 5S, CLIT, OEE (Over All Equipment Efficiency), FR (Failure Rate), MTTR (Mean Time To Repair), MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure), OPL (One Point Lesson) Kaizen, White, Yellow, Green and Red Tags etc.
• Ensure the availability of materials (Raw materials, Packaging, WIP) required for completion of Production Plan.
• Prioritizes and allocates resources (manpower and material) to ensure efficient operation and changeovers.

• To rationalize all processes – minimum input maximum quality output with lowest possible overheads.

What do you remember about your time in ILM / IMT /UMT?
A learning environment, I cant forget the passion and rigor which I experienced in UMT. Whenever I used to remember the moments passed in UMT I found myself in the land of dream, where my vision gets the heights of pleasure.
