Organization Information

currently working as a civil servant at the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Secretariat Peshawar. KPK Assembly is a legislative body, a platform for the elected Member of Provincial Assembly. KP Assembly like other provinces's assemblies introduce and pass the legislative bills which later becomes the Law.

Describe the work that you do in your role

My job is to accommodate the Honorable Speaker of the KPK Assembly in publishing his daily engagements, meetings, public & institutional meetings in the Print, Electronic & Social Media. I also serve the Honorable speaker to take his notes when meeting the general public and forward their concerns to the relevant departments including Police, Health, Education etc.

Indicate previous experience and/or areas of career proficiency/achievenments

After ILM (UMT) I joined a textile sourcing company in Lahore, named Cotton Connection (now Cotcoms) and dealt with the American/Canadian stores like Walmart, Kmart, Ralph Lauren, Macys', LNT etc. Started from the assistant post and ended with Deputy Manager Sourcing & R&D. Then joined the office of the Chairman Pakistan Tehreek Insaf Mr Imran Khan as his staff officer at his residence Banigala Islamabad. Serving khan sab for four years, I joined the civil service in Peshawar, initially as Assistant Director Labor and now working in the Provincial Assembly.

Describe your success in your professional life and achievements

while working at the textile sourcing firm, I worked hard & by the Grace of Allah, I got promoted from step 1 to 6 within 10 years. Had the exposure to the European countries, Middle East, united states, India. Had a good working relationship with the American, Canadian firms and their sourcing & design teams.During my time, most of the projects were successfully designed and delivered to the USA & Canada within the given time frame, that certainly boosted the export of Pakistan.
During my job at PTI Chairman home & secretariat, I planned & implemented the Log book system for the chairman vehicles, Ledger books for daily expenditures at Chairman residence and secretariat. Developed a duty roster for the security and home staff.
During my stay at the ministry of Labor, I inquired all the government labor colonies allover the KPK province and had successful operations of vacating flats from the illegal occupants , drug dealers and land grabbers with the help of the Police and local administration.

Write your activities and achievement if you were member of any club or society in UMT?

I was the 1st sub editor to the first ever magazine of ILM (UMT) "The Message". Had my poems & articles published in the 1st issue.
I was an active member of the then hiking & mountaineering club, had the chance to camp in the northern areas of Pakistan, including Makra peak, Deosai, Noori top, Lulusar top, Musa ka mussala, Broghil pass, Miranjani & Mushkpuri top etc

What do you remember about your time in ILM / IMT /UMT?

During my stay at ILM (1997-2003) (BBA Batch 08, MBA-E Batch 26), the place where we stayed "Galaxy hostel" which was run by the ILM (UMT) administration, the man who would never be forgotten was mr Zahid Warriach, the then hostel warden and a "bhai" of the whole hostelites.
ILM Barkat market campus cafe is still in my memories, fights, tea parties, aftaris, combined studies, affairs all in one place. Mr Hassan Sohaib Murad, a true gentleman and a guide.
a never forgettable memories of the sessions with the Jamiat (Leaders' forum) guys.
