Describe the work that you do in your role

• Mentoring hundreds of students in Electronic Distance Learning Environment through Learning Management System (LMS)
• Developing Student Assignments and Evaluate the same for CS/IT courses
• Formulating Questions along with Grading Schemes for the University’s Online Question Bank for Exams, following Bloom's Taxonomy
• Grading Online Examinations and Conducting Viva-Voce (both in Physical and through Video Conferencing) as Subject Specialist
• Educating & Interacting Students through Moderate Discussion Boards(MDBs), Team Discussion Boards (TDBs), Emails, Skype, Adobe Connect Sessions and related latest online tools & technologies
• Member Supervisory Committee for MS Thesis since Spring 2017
• Final Year Project (FYP) Supervisor for MCS, MIT, BS(CS), BS(IT) Degree Programs since Fall 2016

Indicate previous experience and/or areas of career proficiency/achievenments

I started my career as a Research Associate here at UMT in Interaction Design Center in School of Science and Technology (SST), back in 2008. As being, involved in academia industry form day 1 of my career, I also feel myself blessed to be associated with UMT.

Describe your success in your professional life and achievements

• Honor & Award: Received Certificate of Acknowledgement from Worthy Rector Virtual University of Pakistan, Dr. Naveed A. Malik

• Evaluated Final Year Project Proposals of Computer Science Faculty as a Member Evaluation Committee

• Developed HEC Self Assessment Report (SAR) for B.Sc. Computer Science degree program as a Member Program Team

• Conducted & Taught Face2Face/Physical Programming Sessions for C++ Programming Course in Student Campuses

• Developed Content-based Video Tutorial for undergrad Course, on the topic of "The Role of Bus & Registers in Computer Architecture" for “Computer Architecture and Assembly Language Programming”. Selected among several other tutorials.

What do you remember about your time in ILM / IMT /UMT?

No doubt, UMT is an exciting place for learning, improving and expanding the limits of knowledge. I loved being at UMT for about 2 years in pursue of my MS - Information Technology degree. This productive and pleasant experience expanded my academic life with latest knowledge and research exposure, as well as developed my professional career to next level.
