Rupali Group, Pakistan’s primer polyester filament yarn producing, continuous process petrochemical plant, equipped with state of the art Centum VP DCS, General Electric Jenbechar Gas Engines, Dihatsu Furnance Oil Engines, LiBr Steam Absorption Chiller, MCC, Substation, VFDs etc. Rupali has its own power plant to meet its power needs comprising of Rose Rice, Jenbechar, Dihatsu Engines, and Waste Heat Recovery System (WHRS).
Describe the work that you do in your role
Operation and maintenance activities in power house which comprises of Dihattsu HFO Engine & GE Jenbechar Gas Engine.
Operation and maintenance activities in 11KV substation, H.T., L.T. switchgear and related installation.
Responsible for scheduled and day to day maintenance activities of electrical equipment and overhauling of motors.
Troubleshooting and maintenance of Electrical System associated with Inverters, Cycloconverters, PLC, Controllers etc.
Troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical equipment, switchgear, control panels, transformers, motors, generators etc.
Resolve issues related to load transfer from Generation to WAPDA and vice versa.
Assign priorities for the different activities in Electrical Workshop and provide guidance and assistance for efficient and effective execution of the jobs.
Review spare parts status with electrical staff and coordinate with Engineering Store, Purchase and Technical departments, manufacturers and vendors, in arranging and maintaining inventory to ensure availability of spare parts.
