Describe the work that you do in your role
Trade & Visibility Manager
Managing all Trade Marketing and Visibility enhancement activities for Zong in the C-II (Central II) region that includes 34 major cities in 3 territories, i.e., Faisalabad, Jhang and Sargodha.
Responsible for developing regional promotional strategies to enhance the brand visibility in the region that helps in building overall brand equity of ZONG. Specialized activities planning for newly launched promos, including merchandising at retail, OOH campaigns, brand activation activities, channel branding and segments brand development.
Effective execution of merchandizing plans through 18 merchandisers that are deployed in retail channel. This includes in-store and out-store visibility of Zong offers and promotions.
Planning and execution of monthly regional budget for smooth execution of regional Trade Marketing activities for supporting the field S&D teams.
Development and execution of new retail channels in the region, such as, ZoNG TopShops, Dhabas, Timepey, Circle, E-Category retailers and other regular drives, such as, New Shop Fascias, Skin Change, Wall Chalking, etc.

I have done BCS from Hamdard University Karachi in 2002 and MBA in Marketing and Supply Chain Management (bi-majors) from UMT Lahore in 2006. I have 9 years of working experience in IT, Brands and Marketing with reputed organizations (KAP Pakistan, Mitchell’s Fruit Farms Ltd., PTCL and Zong). During my work experience, I have managed portfolios of some known brands and product categories, such as Mitchell’s Jam Jellies & Marmalades, Mitchell’s Canned Food, PTCL EVO, PTCL Vfone, PTCL Broadband, and Zong.
