As of June 1, 2012, we are now operating as AkzoNobel Pakistan.

Describe the work that you do in your role
I am working as an IT Infrastructure Supervisor, my role is a blend of managerial as well as technical, the services which on I am working are IT Service Support Delivery and Management, Data Center Operations and Management, Network Operatoins and Management, IT Systems and Project Management, IT Procurement Management and Budget controls, Vendor/Client Relations Development, Resource Allocation and Development, IT Asset Capitalization
Indicate previous experience and/or areas of career proficiency/achievenments
Previously I was working with Warid Telecom, it was more technical job rather than managerial, my last experience includes Infrastructure support delivery, Warid Internal Wide Area Network Optimization as well Local Area Network Management where I extensivly gained knowledge on Cisco Routers, Switches and Firewalls
Describe your success in your professional life and achievements
In 2011-2012 when AkzoNobel Pakistan was being Demerge from ICI Pakistan, I carried out IT Services Demerger Project, where I successfully utilised all my knowledge and abilities to construct and get live a new tier-3 data center, I bonded all remote offices of AkzoNobel Pakistan which are located in Karachi, Islamabad, Multan, Transliyari Karachi with Head Office Lahore through WAN and LAN. I spent a very limited budget, played a vital role in minimising cost and facilitated every single user to get connect with network. Although this is also prodigious experience for me as well but this also inordinate achievement for me.

Second most position in my Batch in BSCS, affiliations with different organizations like Warid Telecom, NETS, Corvit
What do you remember about your time in ILM / IMT /UMT?
it is the best part of my life. I gained knowldege and learned to work hard and meet the deadlines. Which helped me alot in my career.
