Describe the work that you do in your role

• Prepare the expediting criteria and expediting schedule for all purchase orders of the project.
• Participate in the clarification meeting with vendors.
• Obtain and review vendor’s organization chart for the order.
• Review and make comments on the vendor’s documentation and fabrication schedule.
• Provide delivery data, each promised, the forecasted and the actual, into expediting report and submits the report to the Project Procurement Manager.
• Identifies and resolves problems that may cause a delay in delivery of equipment to the point of use, whether the problem is internal to the Company or caused by the supplier or the sub-suppliers.
• Maintains a professional relationship with suppliers that motivates compliance, promotes improved performance, and avoid compromising responsibility.
• Keeps Procurement Management adequately advised of significant issues or changes in order status, with particular attention to any problem areas.
• Report with warning notice on the delivery with countermeasure plans.
• Implement the Quality System based on the Quality Manual and Procedure of the company.
• To perform material preservation activities as well as supervising storage and warehousing processes
• Ensures that specifications or any requirements for handling, storage, packaging, and preservation are met.
• To control and review the preparation of the materials requested for issuing
• To Keep and update material inventory record “Receipt, Accept, Stock, and Issuance & Balance Details”.
• To report to the Warehouse Manager by providing weekly inventory report so that the Procurement Manager could report the status to the CLIENT (if required).

I have more than 5 years experience in Accounting and Procurement.

Describe your success in your professional life and achievements

I am contributing positively and I have completed many crucial tasks within a limited time for nonstop productivity.
I am always very committed to my work. first time I have introduced WhatsApp group in my department to update each employee working under my supervision. and due to my 24/7 availability to higher management, company clients are satisfied.

Write your activities and achievement if you were member of any club or society in UMT?

I was not the member of the society but I scored the third position in the Urdu debate competition arranged by UMT leaders Forum.

What do you remember about your time in ILM / IMT /UMT?

I will always remember how easily I made friends, and how we were always doing something fun along with study and taking advantage of beautiful environment of the UMT life. UMT has made me a much open and confident.
