The Beaconhouse group is an international private school system with up to 193,000 students in nine countries and is possibly the largest school system of its kind in the world. Established in November 1975 as the Les Anges Montessori Academy for toddlers, Beaconhouse has since grown into a global network of private schools, institutes, and universities, imparting distinctive and meaningful education to students from pre-school to post-graduation.
Describe the work that you do in your role
-Responsible for designing the network setup, installing & configuring MS Windows 2003 Server with Win XP client workstations
-Installed & configured Microsoft Exchange Server 2003/2007 for our e-mail. Creating new Groups and User’s. Also have to install Trend Micro Antivirus for Exchange for scanning emails on server. Also give training to users for using Microsoft Outlook
-Deployed exchange in variety of environment using combination of mandatory roles including Hub Transport, Mail Box, Client Access Server and optionally Edge Transport Server
-Also administrator the ISA Server 2006 for Internet shearing on clients powerful firewall software for net sharing. Using Cache Mode, Firewall Mode and Integrated Mode (Both Firewall And Cache)
-Complete knowledge of preparing a new LAN using DNS server or DHCP server
-Complete knowledge of Schema Administration also maintains (Active Directory) to create new User’s & Group’s on Domain Controller
-Using backup tolls like Symantec Backup Exec, Nova Backup, Turbo Backup

What do you remember about your time in ILM / IMT /UMT?
That was a great time and always wish to go back in that time. when remembering that time then thought it was full of learning, fun and one of best period of my life. having no responsibility other than study ,very good friends and class mates, teachers and my class rooms ...all are still in my mind.
