Describe the work that you do in your role

A brief description of my work includes;
•Development of new products or modification / re-designing of the existing products as per market demand.
•Coordination with R&D and other concerned departments for the development of new products
•Coordination with R&D and other concerned departments for the modification / improvement / re-designing of existing products
•Development and implementation of the launch plans of the new products in coordination with the related departments and to suggest integrated marketing mix by identifying the needs of different markets
•To perform a pre-launch survey for new products to check demographics of the target markets, their trends & lifestyles and their requirements
•Liaison with other departments for smooth operations and for achieving the timelines of different tasks
•Development of all the packaging material by coordinating with the vendors
•Planning of the ATL and BTL campaigns of the new products in coordination with the marketing department and the relevant agency

I have worked with one of the largest FMCG Food Company in Pakistan i.e. Mitchell’s Fruit Farms Ltd.

Describe your success in your professional life and achievements

In Qarshi Industries (Pvt.) Ltd.:
•Successfully converted Jam-e-Shirin packaging from Paper Label to BOPP Label which enabled the company to save 27% of Packaging cost per bottle (Includes saving in Label and Master Carton).
•Successfully converted the medicinal syrups from glass bottles to PET bottles to make the products more cost effective

In Mitchell's Fruit Farms Ltd.:
Successfully launched promising products like Party Ketchup (for IMTs and institutes), Yum! Ketchup in stand-up pouches, Assortment Chocolate on the occasion of Platinum Anniversary of the company, Happy Hearts (a heart shape molded chocolate), Confectionery Gift Box and Red Syrup.
Successfully launched Mitchell’s Platinum Jubilee Campaign which included the media planning (Electronic, Print and Outdoor), designing of the supplement and Book Launch

Write your activities and achievement if you were member of any club or society in UMT?

I was a member of a social club whose mission was to help poor and needy people but it was not directly under the umbrella of UMT.

What do you remember about your time in ILM / IMT /UMT?

Each moment of the time spent in UMT is memorable for me. The faculty, batch advisor, my mentor all supported me and my batch mates. Every institute has pros and corns but as far as my experience is concerned, during my session, pros were more than the corns. Some people might differ with the statement but some might support it.
