Describe the work that you do in your role
As a Manager Scotland i monitor all the functions and operations of Scotland office. I allocate area to all merchandising staff and sales team on daily basis. Seeking new business opportunities, develop the market and maintain it. Ensure availability of marketing and promotional staff in all business hot spots. Communicate promotional strategies and new offers to retailers, marketing and sales staff. Recruit, train sales and marketing staff as per the company policy, rules and regulations. Survey new business areas in different cities and towns of Scotland to make hot spots for our business. Monitor and vigilant about competitor's promotions, new offer, and marketing activities regularly. Ensure perfect liaison with head office about contingency plans, policies and strategies.

I started work at Nishat Mills Ltd as a officer and later i joined Ejaz group of companies. I left when Ejaz as a Deputy Manager HR & Systems. I was declared employee of the year in 2004. We worked hard and developed and implemented different systems i.e. Quality Management System, Social Management System, and Environmental Management System in one year time. During stay at Ejaz Group i enjoyed perfect professional learning.

What do you remember about your time in ILM / IMT /UMT?
At ILM i enjoyed ever best time of my life. It was a Golden period of my life. I learned a lot from veteran professors, cooperative classmates, and knowledge intensive environment. Whenever i come Pakistan i visit ILM (off course now UMT) and see my professors to refresh my memories and for knowledge sharing.
