RISE (Revitalizing, Innovating, Strengthing Education) is a USAID funded project being run in the 4 earthquake hit districts of Pakistan i.e. Mansehra, Muzaffarabad, Bagh and Rawalakot. The project aims at capacity building of teachers and education managers alongwith bringing schools and community together to strengthen the education.

Describe the work that you do in your role

As Deputy Director Teacher Training, I have been part of teacher training activities right from the development of training material to designing and implementation of teacher training program.

- Principal of a school,
- Manager Huaman Resources at READ Foundation
- Associate Director, Institute of Teacher Education at Kashmir Education Foundation (KEF)

What do you remember about your time in ILM / IMT /UMT?

It was a memorable time I spent at UMT. I particularly remember guidance of the faculty to undertake all course activities and assignments.
