Organization Information

CWCD over the past few years has played a dominant role in poverty alleviation by utilizing all possible resources and rendering services for socio economic uplift of the deprived segment of the society.

CWCD provides reliable and sustainable short to medium term financial support that helps initiate and expand the operational scope of micro entrepreneurs in Pakistan. By introducing Islamic Microfinance Products in 2008 we have achieved yet another milestone achieved. This project has been done with the consortium of Mufti Iftikhar Baig of Taqi Usmani Group, Ernyst & Young Ford Rhodes Sidat Hyder, and Saleem & Baig Legal Advocates. Currently, four Islamic products are being offered; Murabaha, Ijara, Istisna and Diminishing Mushraka.

CWCD’s responsibility is to create opportunities for those who need it most, with real commitment to the community. We believe that the cure of poverty is not wealth, but justice. Through justice we can provide them opportunities to earn a decent living and lead themselves along with many other out of poverty.

Describe the work that you do in your role

It is a full time field work job. I verify the applicants' businesses, homes, their financial status and reputation in community/society. I check their financial statements / conditions. Now I perform another task of office documentation and reporting of Verification Department, and maintain the link with other departments and control the Verification Team etc.

Indicate previous experience and/or areas of career proficiency/achievenments

My previous experience of Sales and Marketing, in Freight Forwarding Industry and Media and Advertising Industry.
