LF has its own design team based in one of the major fashion cities of the world i.e., New York. This team studies the prevalent and future fashion trends in the market and launches its design collection at the start of every season. It makes the buyers work easy to simply select the styles from our collection and add into their product range.
The stitching facility based in Sialkot, a border town near Lahore, is the largest and most modern stitching unit in Pakistan.
It employs more than 3,700 workers and has a capacity of producing 2,500 to 3,000 garments per day. 3000 to 5000 Pair of Gloves per day and newly installed bag unit with latest equipments and energetic force. We are producing 9,000 to 10,000 bags monthly. The production and quality control departments are under the control of highly trained Korean/Japan’s technicians who ensure world-class quality during all stages of production and at the time of shipping. We have a very good range of leather belts. Our belts department is capable to produce all type of belts it is also our new product line with integrated belt machines at the moment we are capable to produce 100, 000 belts per month.
The tanning facility, also based in Sialkot, is also the largest in Pakistan and is producing 70,000 to 80,000 square feet leather per day using the state-of-the art technology. In an effort to preserve the natural habitat, we only use chemicals imported from Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland, and Germany with a guarantee that these are environmental friendly. The tannery’s R&D department regularly develops new leather outlooks and finishes considering the international trends and enables us to offer very new products to our customers before hand.
The management believes in the theory of Continuous Improvement, and is always looking for ways to improve the quality of production in the light of modern quality concepts. Its strategic decisions, like ISO-9002 certification and hiring of Korean technicians to supervise various areas of production, have resulted in improved product quality and cost effectiveness by achieving higher production efficiency and lower wastage margins. Despite tremendous success, LF has not stopped its struggle for excellence and the management is committed to provide world class quality products to its clients all over the world.

Corresponding with international buyers and buying houses.
To develop a price sheet, products analysis.
Communicate to customer regarding to new developments, upcoming orders and running order.
To keep strong follow up of all inquires, new developments, production issues and shipments.
To develop samples and getting approval from buyers to proceed with mass production.
To check the quality of product from raw material to packing, to resolve quality and production related issues. To conduct internal order before finalized the shipment.
To inspect a shipment and prepare a final inspection report regarding to the quality of product.

What do you remember about your time in ILM / IMT /UMT?
It was very excellent time period in UMT, I can't explain in words. I can never forget a company of my class fellows and teachers who teach us very politely and with a fantastic teaching technique specially. All other staff of UMT is very much competitive and co-operative. They helped us about projects and practical works. They do all that we needed during our time period in UMT.
